

These delicious chocolate brownie collagen bites make the perfect snack for busy on-the-go people and are packed full of healthy proteins and fats to provide you with the energy you need to keep you going in-between meals. The collagen powder supports many important functions in the body, including providing our skin with structure and strengthening our bones! They taste amazing, are super easy and quick to make - making them the perfect go-to snack to make for any busy week ahead.
Ingredients
1 cup Pitted Dates, packed
1 x 420g tin Organic Black Beans (no added salt)
100g Collagen Powder
80g Organic Cacao Powder
100g Almond or Nut Butter
3 grams Sea Salt
1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
1 teaspoon coconut oil
Directions
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
In a small mixing bowl, place the dates and cover with warm water. Leave to soak for 5 minutes, then drain.
Place the dates, black beans, collagen powder, cacao powder, almond butter, and sea salt into a food processor. Blitz until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary.
Place the mixture into the fridge for 15-30 minutes to slightly set.
Remove from the fridge and roll the into balls (size as desired) and place on the baking sheet.
To make dark chocolate drizzle - melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe container in bouts of 30 seconds until fully melted. Drizzle over the balls.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow balls to set. Enjoy!
