Banana Cinnamon Collagen Slice



This one-bowl banana collagen slice, makes for a quick and healthy on-the-go breakfast or snack option that the whole family will love! Packed full of nourishing ingredients it is perfect for lunchbox treats, after-school snacks, or for those days where you are on the run with work or sports activities and don't want to fill up on empty calories. The bars can be stored individually in the freezer, making them the perfect grab-and-go snack.



Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe Banana, mashed

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats

  • 2/3 cup Unsweetened Coconut Flakes

  • 3/4 cup Raw Honey

  • 2/3 cup Almond Butter

  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

  • 1/3 cup Collagen Powder



Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200C or 180C fan forced and line a 9 x 9 square pan with baking paper. Set aside.

  2. Place all ingredients together into a large mixing bowl and mix until well combined.

  3. Pour mixture into the baking pan and press down firmly, packing it evenly into the pan.

  4. Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove and set aside to coo.

  5. Once cool, cut into squares. Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or they can be individually wrapped and stored in the freezer for up to a month.
